2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Account registration details: name, email address, phone number, business name, and business type
• Payment information: subscription billing details processed securely through our payment partners
• Transaction data: sales records, service descriptions, amounts, and payment methods entered by your team
• Staff information: names, phone numbers, and role details for Pros you add to your account
• Communications: messages you send us via the contact form, email, or in-app support

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: which features you use, how often, and for how long
• Device and browser information: device type, operating system, browser type, and app version
• Log data: IP addresses, timestamps, and error reports for security and debugging purposes
• Location data: approximate location derived from IP address for fraud prevention

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Seltrx platform and its features
• Process transactions and send SMS notifications to service professionals
• Manage your subscription and process billing
• Send you important service communications, security alerts, and product updates
• Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. SMS notifications

A core feature of the Seltrx Pro App is SMS transaction notifications. When a sale is attributed to a service professional, an automated SMS is sent to their registered phone number. By registering a phone number on the platform, service professionals consent to receiving these operational SMS messages.

These messages are transactional in nature and are necessary for the core functionality of the service. Pros may dispute or acknowledge transactions via the Pro App.

5. Data sharing and third parties

We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Companies that help us deliver our services, such as cloud infrastructure providers, SMS gateway providers, and payment processors. These parties are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data to provide services to us.
• Business transfers: If Andjello Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Legal requirements: Where required by Nigerian law, regulation, court order, or government authority.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain certain information for longer periods where required by law, for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
